The space
Tucked into one of the best locations on the peninsula just outside Placencia Village, this newly built home gives you the best of both worlds—close to everything, yet quietly your own.
The kitchen is ready for real life, not just vacation living. Cook with fresh local ingredients using a full-size gas stove and oven, refrigerator, microwave, and all the essentials. Start your day with French press or drip coffee, blend up margaritas in the evening, and keep it simple with breakfast at the bar or on the balcony.
When it’s time to rest, close the blackout blinds and settle into a king-size memory foam bed in a cool, air-conditioned retreat designed for deep, uninterrupted sleep.
Outside, life slows down. Stretch out in the hammock, set up beach chairs, or float in the calm Caribbean waters just steps away.
At Take Two, you’re within easy walking distance of the heart of Placencia Village—but far enough to enjoy your own peaceful rhythm. Cruise into town on the provided bikes, pack light with the in-home washer and dryer, and know everything you need is already here.

Your stay also includes access to a pool at the Placencia Beach Club, just a short walk or quick bike ride away.

About the Owner
A place with a story. On a rainy day during our honeymoon at Turtle Inn, we rented a scooter and explored up and down the peninsula. We stumbled across this incredible property—and that moment changed everything. That was in 2012. We fell in love with Belize—its beauty, its pace, and especially its people. Over the years, that connection only deepened, and in late 2023 we completed the first phase of what has become our home away from home… with more still to come. We’re a family of four kids (and two amazing additions so far), all of whom love Belize as much as we do. You might also hear us talk about Simon, our very large orange tabby (pronounced “See-mone”), and Tater, our mini Aussiedoodle—they’re part of the story too. We spend most of our time in Colorado, which makes winters in Placencia something we look forward to every year. We hope when you stay here, you feel even a little bit of what we felt that first rainy day.
